FREE OR REDUCED LUNCH ELIGIBILITY. For up to 30 operating days into the new school year (or until a new eligibility determination is made, whichever comes first) an individual child’s free or reduced price eligibility status from the previous year will continue.
This temporary eligibility will expire end of day October 22, 2024.
If you have NOT already submitted an application for the 2024-2025 school year, please submit one immediately. This will prevent a lapse in your child's eligibility when we return to our regular National School Lunch Program. (If you have already submitted an application please disregard this notice)

If a new application is not received at least 5 school days prior to the termination date, the child's account may be charged full price for the meals after the termination date until the new application is processed.

Spud Harvest dates have been confirmed by the school board as planned in the district calendar (Sep. 23-Oct. 3). School will resume Monday, October 7, 2024.


The Homecoming parade starts at 12:45 pm on Friday, September 6. Teachers will walk with their class to watch the parade starting at 12:30 pm. If you are checking your child out of the elementary school for the parade, they will be called to the office when you get to the school. They will not be called out earlier. If they are being picked up by another adult to participate in the parade, they will have to have written or verbal permission given to the elementary school before 11:00 am. In addition, to ensure student safety, students must be checked out through the office after the parade. We appreciate your cooperation on this fun day! Go Huskies!

NFHS presents Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella". April 25, 26, 27, 29 @ 7:00 pm. The North Fremont Education Foundation will be hosting a dinner and auction on April 27 @ 5:00. Tickets are available at Ashton Elementary and North Fremont High School.


NATIONAL CHILD ID PROGRAM. The schools have received a limited supply of National Child ID Program kits. These kits are free to parents/guardians. Each kit contains an inkless fingerprint kit, a medical info section, a DNS section, and an applicator to help collect personal information for your child. These documents are to be stored at home by the parents/guardians to be used in an emergency. If ever needed, you can provide this information to authorities to help reunite a missing child with your family. Contact your local school to request a kit.

K-5 LITERACY ADOPTION MATERIALS REVIEW. On Friday, March 22, 2024, we will be hosting a review meeting for all parents and teachers to review the available curriculum resources for teaching literacy in grades K-5. The review will be from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm in Henry's Fork Elementary in St. Anthony. Come and see some of the tools available to help our teachers teach literacy skills including reading, writing, phonics, spelling, and handwriting.


Fremont Joint School District 215 will conduct its annual Kindergarten Screenings from March 25th through March 28th, 2024.
All kindergarten-age students enrolling for the 2024-25 school year are required to register for and attend this universal screening. Students entering kindergarten who are currently enrolled in our preschool programs and receiving special education services WILL NOT need to participate in the screening.
Please contact the secretary of your enrolling school to register your child for the screening on or before Thursday, March 21st.
